Information for Submitting an Abstract

All abstracts must be submitted via the event Abstract Portal. Please note that the portal will open on 12 October 2026.

SUBMIT ABSTRACT

Guidelines for submission:

  • The deadline for submission is 22 January 2027.
  • All abstracts must be submitted using English.
  • You can submit an abstract for consideration as an Invited Oral, Contributed Oral or Poster.
  • The abstract must be submitted using the abstract template which can be found below.
  • In the event you wish to edit your abstract, before the deadline, resubmit via the portal in the 'Edit Abstract' section. Please do not submit the updated abstract as a new one.
  • You will receive a confirmation email upon receipt of your submission.
  • If you require any support, please email cpdservices@abdn.ac.uk.
ABSTRACT TEMPLATE

After submission:

  • The organisers reserve the right to allocate a different presentation type to the one you would prefer.
  • Abstract notifications will be the week commencing 1 March 2027.
  • At least one of the authors must register as a participant before the Early Bird registration deadline of 31 March 2027, otherwise the paper will be withdrawn.
  • You will receive detailed presenter guidelines confirming details including the timing of your presentation, session etc no later than 1 May 2027.
